Apple Mighty Mouse Wireless Kit Reviews
Customer Rating:

Summary: Needs to be improved.
Comment: I bought this upon recommendation from a friend. He mentioned that he tried another mouse and keyboard and I should just get the apple wireless products, as that is what he ended up with. (I should have known better as I saw him have problems with his mouse while at his house) I love the keyboard, but this mouse is an overpriced piece of crap.
I love bluetooth mice, I use a Logitech M-RBB93 at work on a PC and it works excellent. The Mighty Mouse is not comfortable, and the scroll ball does not work well. It needs to be cleaned every month or so, and even then it doesnt consistently scroll left and right. I do not have much positive information to provide about this mouse.

Summary: Mighty Mouse stops in its tracks when dirty
Comment: Like many others here, I've had my Mighty Mouse for a while -- three, in fact, on three different Macs. Two of them have scroll wheels that are goobered up by dirt. You can clean them, sort of, for a while but it gets progressively more difficult. Your unhappiness every time you want to scroll somewhere will go up.
For $70 you'd like to have a scroll wheel that works for as long as the mouse itself does. Apple needs to fix this; but despite the many complaints here and on the Apple forums it hasn't. Two stars, and I'm being generous.

Summary: Not ergonomic
Comment: It is obvious that Apple was designing for aesthetics and not ergonomics when they created this mouse. After switching from a Microsoft mouse that better fit the contour of my hand, this mouse feels more like a chore to use, tiring my wrists and becoming uncomfortable more quickly than my previous mouse.
The features are nice (squeeze for Expose, quick launch of dashboard) but none of them feel like a "Must Have" for the mouse. If you bought your Mac for the look, then you'll enjoy the compliment that the mouse is to the machine. But if you can spring for a more ergonomic mouse you will probably get greater enjoyment out of using your computer for extended periods.

Summary: Love this mouse!!
Comment: I am not sure why some people rate this mouse so poorly.
It works great,it is sensitive and responsive, without being overly so.
It is easy to set up.
All mouses out there require and occasional cleaning of the trackball, which takes virtually no time at all.
Turning it upside down and running it back and forth on a plain white piece of paper a few times and voila it's good to go again.
It has won me over, and I love this mouse :)
